Kilimanjaro Co-Operative Bank Limited (KCBL) — now rebranded as Cooperative Bank of Tanzania — needed a complete digital overhaul. Their existing online presence didn't reflect the institution's reach across 8+ regions, 14+ account types, and growing digital banking services including mobile banking, ATM cards, and M-Pesa integration.
Building a banking website that serves farmers in Kilimanjaro, traders in Dar es Salaam, and young professionals going digital-first — all under one roof. The site had to be bilingual-ready, showcase 14+ account products, 7+ loan types, and meet BOT regulatory standards while remaining fast on low-bandwidth connections.
Built a comprehensive sitemap covering Personal Banking (14 accounts), Business Banking, Digital Banking, Loan Products, Careers, Tenders, and Whistleblower sections
Designed a clean, trustworthy visual language using KCBL's green brand identity — professional enough for corporate banking, warm enough for cooperative values
Developed on WordPress with custom templates for product pages, career listings, forex rates, and branch information
Domain and hosting provided by Sakurahost — kcblbank.co.tz and kcbl.co.tz both managed under our infrastructure
