
Serereka — Making Tiles and Bathware Desirable
Social Media Campaign & Product Marketing
Dar Ceramica Center is one of Tanzania's leading retailers of premium tiles, sanitaryware, and bathroom fittings. 'Serereka' — Swahili for 'feel good' — was a campaign designed to make home improvement products feel aspirational and emotionally compelling, not just transactional.
Tiles and bathroom products are traditionally sold on specs and price. Dar Ceramica needed a social media presence that could turn sanitaryware into lifestyle content — making customers feel the transformation before they buy. The campaign also needed to run prize giveaways, seasonal content (Nyerere Day, Mawlid), and product showcases within a unified visual system.
Created the 'Serereka' campaign identity — warm, aspirational product photography with consistent branded frames for social media
Designed product-focused posts showcasing bathtubs, tiles, vanities, and shower enclosures as lifestyle upgrades, not commodities
Ran engagement campaigns including winner announcements and seasonal tie-ins (Nyerere Day, festive periods)
Built a reusable template system so the Dar Ceramica team could maintain content quality after handoff
